Mission
We help families, small business owners, churches, and non-profits plan to align their finances to their most central life goals, through the lens of faith and stewardship.
Vision
Our families, businesses, churches and communities are directly affected by the wisdom of our financial choices because those who HAVE more can DO more.
Values
Stewardship is recognition that everything we “possess” is a gift from our loving Creator.
We have a responsibility to be good and faithful Stewards of these gifts, to use them well to fulfill our vocations (parents, spouses, church members, community leaders, etc.), and we have a responsibility to prepare the next steward of these gifts when we have moved on to our final reward.
How I approach Financial Services Differently
As a Certified Kingdom Advisor®
I view money and investments through the lens of Stewardship vs Ownership.
Ownership is what we are taught by this world. It says, “My work, talents, and perseverance, and maybe some luck have earned all of this for me. It is mine to use, spend and enjoy, and hopefully pass on to my kids someday. The more I have, the better off I am.”
There is nothing wrong with this worldview, but it is not complete. It is missing a critical element that can help us to live fuller, more peaceful lives.
Stewardship adds the missing element,
“The world is The Lord’s, and all who live in it” Psalm 24 1-2.
Stewardship begins with the recognition that everything we have, our bodies and minds, our skills, and talents are gifts from a generous God who loves us and desires our happiness. God WANTS us to enjoy his gifts. Our money and wealth are gifts, and we are stewards of these gifts while we live. God gives us these gifts so that we can fulfill our vocations – to provide for our spouse, children, friends, businesses, communities, and churches.
At the end of our lives we should strive to be worthy of that wondrous phrase,
“Well done, good and faithful servant” Matthew 25:21.
As an Independent Advisor
I have the freedom to specialize in serving:
- people who are trying to live faith-centered lives of Stewardship,
- business leaders who serve our communities by creating the products, services and jobs that make our lives better, and
- non-profit leaders who work hard to minister to our neighbors.
I have access to high quality technology, research, trading and financial planning tools, life insurance and long-term-care insurance companies, stocks, bonds mutual funds and more. As an experienced Financial Advisor, I can use all of these to help my clients live more integrated lives in which income and wealth become tools to help them along their discipleship journey.
